Meet Ann...
The reason that I made the choice to become a therapist is because during a trial in my life, I saw a need for more resources for people who are going through hard times in their life. My purpose is to be that resource for those who come into my office. Therapy is a very sensitive time in a person's life. My philosophy as a therapist is to create a safe space for my clients where they can explore their issues without concern. The space that I like to create in my office is non-judgmental, open, and peaceful. I will be empathetic and will try to find practical ways to help with any issues my clients bring into my office.
I am interested in working with depression, anxiety, life trantisions, faith-related issues, famlies with young children, and parents who are in transition or who are currently co-parenting due to divorce/separation. I am also certified as a PREPARE-ENRICH Facilitator and can work with couples, both pre-marital and otherwise.
I have experience working with children, adolescents and their families, individuals, and co-parents going through divorce or separation.
